Job summary

Oshi Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of our remote, cloud-native healthcare platform. You’ll shape security architecture, manage identities and secrets, and harden the development lifecycle as AI becomes central to our engineering practices.

You’ll lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and non-human identity management, while coordinating vulnerability management and vendor risk. This role is remote-first across approved US states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years in security engineering with focus on application/product and cloud security (AWS).
• Hands-on with SAST/DAST, GitHub Advanced Security/CodeQL, secret scanning, and software supply‑chain security.
• Strong in identity and access management (Okta/OIDC/SAML, MFA) and non-human identities.
• Familiarity with securing AI/LLM and agentic systems and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Own application and product security, including threat modeling and secure code review.
• Design security architecture for AI-enabled software development lifecycle.
• Build and run non-human identity and secrets management at scale.
• Secure AWS environment end-to-end: IAM, networks, logging, encryption, workload protection.
• Enforce security tooling: CodeQL, secret scanning, reviews, CODEOWNERS enforcement.
• Review AI/vendor integrations touching PHI; assess data flows and DLP needs.
• Own vulnerability management and penetration-testing partnerships; drive closures.
• Support HIPAA Security Rule safeguards and build automation for local security ops.
