Qualifications

Our client, a rapidly growing cybersecurity firm, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Engineer to join their team in **Randburg, Gauteng**. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and managing robust security solutions to protect our client's infrastructure and sensitive data. You will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities, developing proactive defense strategies, responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability scanning.

• Monitor security alerts and respond effectively to security incidents.
• Implement and manage cloud security controls (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP security services).
• Automate security processes and tasks where possible.

Requirements
