Position Summary
The Security Engineer will be responsible for supporting day-to-day cybersecurity operations across warehouse and automated fulfillment environments. This role will focus on monitoring network and OT security risks, analyzing security logs and traffic, responding to and remediating security incidents, managing access and privileges, and supporting security compliance and business continuity initiatives. The position will work closely with on-site warehouse teams, IT/OT stakeholders, HR, and other cross-functional partners to identify and mitigate security risks, strengthen incident response capabilities, and ensure consistent security practices across warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Daily Warehouse Security Inspections: Conduct routine security monitoring and inspections across warehouse facilities; identify and report anomalies and gaps in network perimeters, network segmentation, protection policies, and equipment status.
- Security Log & Traffic Analysis: In accordance with headquarters SOPs, drive on-site warehouse teams to centrally ingest security logs from network security devices, OT servers, and business systems into the Security Operations Early-Warning Platform; monitor risky behaviors via the platform—such as anomalous logins, abnormal traffic, unauthorized device connections, and unusual port communications, and drive incidents through to closure.
- Security Incident Response & Closed-Loop Remediation: Perform triage, analysis, and disposition of security incidents including anomalous logins, malicious access, viruses/malware, unauthorized connections, and policy violations; organize and coordinate relevant stakeholders in incident response; build and maintain incident registers, remediation records, and lessons-learned cases to continuously strengthen security operations capabilities.
- Account, Privilege & Access Control Management: Periodically review and manage third-party on-site endpoint security, remote access, O&M accounts, and temporary access grants; monitor and govern shared accounts, default accounts, and dormant/orphaned accounts; reduce access risks and management blind spots arising from external maintenance operations.
- Emergency Response & Business Continuity Support: Participate in the handling of security emergencies such as business disruptions, system anomalies, malware propagation, and loss of connectivity to critical equipment; support the development and refinement of security emergency response plans and cross-functional coordination mechanisms for automated warehousing; enable business teams to conduct emergency drills, recovery validation, and post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.
- Compliance Audits & Operations Reporting: Support internal and external security compliance audits; produce thematic reports covering risk posture, incident status, and remediation progress; partner with on-site HR to deliver security awareness training for warehouse staff, raising overall security awareness and standardizing operational practices to mitigate human-factor risks.
Job Requirements
- Professional Skills: Solid knowledge of network security technologies such as TCP/IP, S7, and OPC protocols; hands-on proficiency with mainstream security tools; CISSP or equivalent certifications preferred.
- Industry Experience: 3–5 years of security work experience; familiarity with warehouse automation and enterprise automated production processes and systems is a strong plus.
- Communication & Collaboration: Able to communicate seamlessly with business teams and effectively address security issues arising from business needs.
