Job summary

Truist seeks a Senior Technical Project & Program Management Consultant to join the Security Delivery group and lead delivery, project management, and portfolio leadership for cybersecurity and fraud initiatives within TPS.

The role focuses on stakeholder management across security domain teams, managing delivery risks, and ensuring transparent reporting to facilitate informed decisions. In-office role with five days per week in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of professional experience in technical project or program management.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise project and program management methodologies, governance, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, and controls resources, timelines, and budgets for multiple complex technical projects and programs.
• Maintains and enforces technical program and project management best practices, templates, standards, and processes across multiple initiatives.
• Monitors project dependencies and consolidated status across multiple projects, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Provides technical guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring compliance with requirements and quality standards.
• Conducts comprehensive risk analysis and manages risk mitigation plans to minimize project impact.
• Executes vendor integration, contract management, and performance evaluation where applicable.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with organizational strategy.
• Drives continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Guides and may direct the work of lower-level professionals within projects or programs.
• Ensures quality assurance and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards throughout project lifecycles.
