Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Security Control Assessor to support RMF/NIST-53 compliance for mission-critical IT systems. On-site work in Springfield, VA is required, supporting the MAJESTIC JPO team with assessments, documentation, and risk mitigation.

The role requires 5–9 years of experience, TS/SCI with poly preferred, and a range of government-grade security frameworks knowledge. Collaboration with ISSMs, ISOs, and admins is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-9 years of professional experience managing and supporting enterprise IT environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI with Poly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent, objective assessments of IT systems to validate RMF/NIST-53 compliance.
• Review ABDs, RARs, SSPs, STIGs, vulnerability scans for A&A.
• Lead Control Implementation Review and Test procedures and system-level assessments.
• Provide formal recommendations on authorization status to Authorizing Officials.
• Analyze vulnerability scan results and support vulnerability management posture.
