Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Security Control Assessor III to perform comprehensive assessments of security controls across collateral, SCI, and SAP environments.

You will evaluate risk, advise leadership, and produce SARs while supporting authorization processes and continuous monitoring in a DoD/IC context. The role requires 9+ years of related experience, TS/SCI eligibility, and strong knowledge of RMF, JSIG, and DoD policies.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of related information security experience.
• Experience with RMF and JSIG guidance.
• SAP/SCI/Collateral IS security experience.
• DoD/IC security policy knowledge.
• TS/SCI clearance required or ability to obtain

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessment of management, operational, and technical security controls.
• Assess IS threats and vulnerabilities and provide SAR.
• Oversee RMF-based assessments per JSIG guidance.
• Advise ISO/IDO/PSO/DAO/AO on assessment issues.
• Prepare POA&Ms and security authorization packages.
• Assist with SDLC security considerations and cross-domain solutions
