Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Security Control Assessor (SCA) to lead RMF-based assessments of IS security controls for collateral, SCI and SAP environments in the Dayton region.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, US citizenship, and 7+ years of related experience. You will develop and evaluate security plans, coordinate with the AO/DAO, ISO and PSO, prepare SARs, and advise on authorization decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience in SAP, SCI or Collateral IS Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the description of duties.
• Prior performance in the role of ISSO and ISSM or SCA.
• US Citizenship required.
• IAT Level III or IAM Level II within 6 months of the date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of IS security program policy; special emphasis placed upon integration of existing SAP network infrastructure
• Perform assessment of ISs, based upon the RMF methodology in accordance with the JSIG
• Advise the ISO, IDO, PSO, and AO/DAO on any assessment and authorization issues
• Evaluate Authorization packages and make recommendation to the AO/DAO for authorization
• Evaluate IS threats and vulnerabilities to determine whether additional safeguards are required
• Advise the Government concerning impact levels for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability
• Ensure security assessments are completed and SAR prepared for the Authorization boundary
• Initiate a POA&M with identified weaknesses for each Authorization Boundary
• Evaluate security assessment documentation and provide written recommendations for security authorization
• Discuss recommendation for authorization and submit the security authorization package
• Assess proposed changes to Authorization boundaries operating environment and mission needs
• Review sanitization and clearing procedures per Government guidance
• Assist Government inspections and with security incidents
• Ensure SDLC considerations are addressed
• Evaluate hardware/software for security impact
• Evaluate the effectiveness of Continuous Monitoring Plans
• Represent the customer on inspection teams
