Job summary

Everforth Apex seeks a Senior Security Automation Engineer to design, build, and deploy security tools, automations, and integrations across IAM, DSPM/ASM, SIEM, XDR, and SOAR. The role emphasizes creating Python-based automations, APIs, dashboards, and internal tooling to support security operations.

The successful candidate will work with security architects and analysts to automate workflows, enable incident responders, and improve efficiency across enterprise platforms and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Broad hands-on security engineering experience across multiple cybersecurity technologies, systems, integrations, and operational functions.
• Experience integrating enterprise technologies using APIs, SDKs, web services, and authentication methods.
• Advanced Python development experience and automation workflow design.
• Experience developing internal web apps, APIs, dashboards, and command-line tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and deploy enterprise security automations and custom tools.
• Develop Python-based automations, dashboards, and SDK integrations.
• Build automated workflows for alert enrichment, triage, incident response, and reporting.
• Create tools for CVE vetting, vulnerability enrichment, and risk prioritization.
• Implement logging, error handling, and secure software development practices.
• Collaborate with security architects and analysts to integrate platforms and data sources.
