Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering, Detection Engineering or Security Operations Engineering.
• Proven experience customizing, tuning, and extending security tools beyond basic administration.
• Experience building detections, policies, parsers, dashboards, automations, or integrations within security platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security solutions across endpoint, SIEM, and security monitoring platforms.
• Customize and tune security tools to meet business and security requirements, including detections and automation workflows.
• Investigate complex technical issues and develop scalable solutions to improve security visibility and response capabilities.
• Build and maintain scripts, automations, and integrations that enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and engineering teams to identify and remediate security risks.
• Evaluate security platform capabilities and implement custom configurations beyond out-of-the-box functionality.
• Document engineering solutions, security processes, and technical findings.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve security controls, monitoring, and operational effectiveness.
