Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Information Security Automation Engineer to design, develop, and run automated security workflows, integrations, and tooling across Security Operations, IAM, and IT. You’ll partner with multiple teams to automate processes, strengthen controls, and reduce operational risk.

You’ll work with governance, cloud security, and incident response tooling to enable scalable security operations, while maintaining documentation and ensuring adherence to policy and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information security, CS, IT, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with IAM, SIEM, SOAR, vulnerability management, endpoint security, or cloud security solutions.
• Knowledge of API development, system integrations, and workflow orchestration.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support automated security workflows, orchestration processes, and system integrations.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual tasks through automation and process optimization.
• Integrate platforms and enterprise systems using APIs, scripting, and automation frameworks.
• Develop automation for identity governance, access management, vulnerability management, incident response, and security reporting.
• Collaborate with security analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to improve efficiency and control effectiveness.
• Support the implementation and operation of security tools, orchestration platforms, and workflow automation technologies.
• Ensure automation solutions align with security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot automation failures, integration issues, and process exceptions.
• Maintain documentation for automation workflows, integrations, and procedures.
