Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect II to design, plan, and deliver security solutions for large enterprise customers from Cambridge, MA, with telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.

You will lead installation and integration of security platforms and mentor customers through the project lifecycle. The role requires a Master’s degree with 2 years of relevant security experience or a Bachelor’s with 5 years of experience, plus deep knowledge of web/API

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in CS, SWE, CE, Cybersecurity, Info Security, Electrical/Electronics Eng, Telecommunication, Info Systems, or IT with 2 years of relevant exp.
• Two years of exp in web app security, API security, bot detection, DNS security, rate limiting, token validation, schema enforcement, and client behavior analysis; SIEM integration with Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s degree in listed fields with 5 years of relevant exp.

Responsibilities

• Designing, planning, and delivering security solutions for large enterprise customers.
• Leading planning, installation, and integration of Akamai products in diverse environments using automation and config tools.
• Training customers and stakeholders to maximize value of Akamai solutions.
• Liaising with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive post-sales satisfaction.
