Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior II Security Architect for its Micro Segmentation Professional Services team. You will design, plan and drive the implementation of segmentation projects for large enterprises, coordinating with customers to align solutions with business needs.

Lead the deployment of the Guardicore product across diverse data center and cloud environments, while working with Support and Engineering to resolve issues and ensure successful post-sales outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting software or networking equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems and Data Center Infrastructure.
• Demonstrate proactivity and a strong desire to learn; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Skills in network or endpoint security platforms; scripting (Bash, Python).
• Experience leading major successful projects with large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, installation and integration of the Guardicore product in diverse environments.
• Manage projects from architecture design to installation, configuration and documentation.
• Deploy and implement network segmentation policies using the segmentation platform.
• Deliver advanced professional services (customizations, training, expansions, configurations, optimizations).

Our team is responsible for implementing network segmentation projects for our strategic customers, using our Guardicore Micro Segmentation product. We collaborate with customers and prospects to align our solutions to business needs.

Partner with our enterprise customers

You will design, plan and drive the implementation of segmentation projects for large enterprises. You will work closely with customers to manage projects, provide creative solutions, and develop successful implementations.

As a Senior II Security Architect, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the planning, installation and integration of the Guardicore product in diverse infrastructure environments
• Working with customers throughout a delivery project life cycle from project management and architecture design to installation, configuration and documentation
• Deploying and implementing network segmentation policies using our state of the art segmentation platform
• Delivering advanced professional services (such as customizations / training / expansions / configurations / optimizations)
• Working closely with Support and Engineering teams to quickly resolve any client issues and drive customer post-sales satisfaction

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $139,300 - $250,700/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
