Job summary

A Senior II Security Architect at Akamai leads the planning, installation and integration of the Guardicore micro-segmentation product across data center and cloud environments. You design architectures, manage delivery projects, and coordinate with customers to ensure successful implementations.

You will work with Support and Engineering teams to resolve issues, deliver advanced professional services, and help large enterprises adopt secure segmentation strategies that protect critical assets

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
• Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting software or networking equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of Networking, Operating Systems and Data Center Infrastructure.
• Proactive with a keen desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to challenge expectations.
• Experience with network or endpoint security platforms and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, installation and integration of the Guardicore product in diverse environments.
• Manage delivery projects from planning to installation, configuration and documentation.
• Deploy and implement network segmentation policies using Guardicore platform.
• Deliver advanced professional services (customizations, training, configurations, optimizations).
• Collaborate with Support and Engineering to resolve client issues and ensure post-sales satisfaction.
