Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to resolve complex issues and lead implementations for system and network security technologies. The role is hybrid, requiring in-office 1–2 days per week to foster collaboration while allowing remote work.

You will develop testing plans, coordinate data security incident reporting, support risk assessments, and participate in change control and vendor management. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in security operations or design are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with access management or network security technologies, servers, networks, or operating systems is required.
• Experience providing top-tier security support across information security domains is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides trouble resolution on complex problems and leads implementations for security technologies.
• Develops testing plans to ensure quality of implementation.
• Coordinates and reports data security events and incidents.
• Supports system and network architecture for information security technologies.
• Provides risk assessment support and enforces information security procedures and standards.
• Leads change control for major upgrades and reconfigurations.
• Designs and analyzes vendor services to meet security requirements.
• Maintains relationships with key vendors.
• Performs capacity analysis and implements capacity increases.
• Escalates technical issues for maintenance and incident recovery.
• Supervises preventative maintenance and complex operations.
