Job summary

Zoom seeks a Senior Security Analyst to investigate cybersecurity events and incidents, combining hands-on security operations with automation engineering. The role supports a transition into a full-time automation engineer and follows a shift-based schedule (8:00 AM–6:00 PM EST, Tue–Fri or Wed–Sat).

The D&R team covers threat intelligence, security logging, detection engineering, SOC, and incident response.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in a Security Operations Center and/or Incident Response role.
• 2+ years in a technical role (IT, Networking, Software Eng, SRE, etc.).
• Proven automation track record; expertise in deterministic and agentic triage, plus scripting proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Triaging and investigating cybersecurity events across Zoom's environment.
• Transforming analysis into repeatable automation to scale impact.
• Collaborating with D&R and SOC leadership to enhance security posture.
• Providing investigative support during active incidents.
• Developing and implementing new processes and automated workflows.
