Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a security-focused engineer to design, deploy, and operationalize AI capabilities in risk and security operations. You will build AI-powered security agents, ensure responsible AI use, and implement data protection across Microsoft Purview and Azure platforms.

You will collaborate with Security, IT, Legal, and business teams, shaping governance, risk management, and incident response for enterprise AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or security engineering.
• Experience designing and securing enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Azure AI Foundry).
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft security and compliance ecosystems (Purview, 365, Azure).
• Proven data security expertise: DLP, classification, insider risk management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operationalize secure AI capabilities in risk and security operations.
• Implement governance and data protection across AI platforms and enterprise data.
• Secure AI agents, automation, and data flows with zero trust principles.
• Monitor AI platform activity and support SIEM/XDR integrations.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives with Security, IT, Legal, and Business teams.
