Job summary

AXIS Capital is seeking a senior security engineer to design and operationalize secure AI capabilities across risk and security operations. You will build AI-powered agents, enforce robust data protection, and ensure governance for enterprise AI platforms such as Copilot and Azure Foundry.

You will also lead security initiatives, implement DLP and classification, and collaborate with IT, Legal, and business teams to maintain zero-trust principles and strong access controls across Microsoft 365

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, data protection, or security engineering.
• Proven experience designing and securing enterprise AI platforms including Copilot, Copilot Studio, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Governance, data grounding controls, prompt injection protections, and AI risk management.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft security and compliance ecosystems (Purview, 365, Azure, Entra ID).
• Data security expertise: DLP, classification, labeling, lifecycle management, insider risk.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure enterprise AI platforms (Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry).
• Implement data protection controls across M365 and AI platforms.
• Define access controls and auditability for AI-driven workflows and agents.
• Monitor AI platform activity, support incident response, and conduct investigations.
• Lead cross-functional security initiatives with Security, IT, Legal, and Business teams.
