Job summary

Koch seeks an experienced lawyer to advise on securities law matters and strategic transactions across a diversified portfolio of investments and business initiatives. You will partner directly with business leaders and legal teams on public company investments, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, and other complex transactions that create long‑term value.

The role supports Koch, Inc. and its subsidiaries, including Georgia‑Pacific, Molex, and Infor, leading securities

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a U.S. state bar.
• Experience advising on securities matters and strategic transactions.
• Experience with public company reporting or compliance.
• Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions and venture capital investments.

Responsibilities

• Advise on securities law compliance and regulatory filings.
• Partner with business teams on strategy and execution of investments and take-private transactions.
• Structure, negotiate, and execute mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and minority investments, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions in collaboration with in-house counsel, corporate development teams, and outside counsel.
• Manage all phases of assigned transactions, including structuring, legal due diligence, negotiation and documentation, signing, and closing.
• Support senior transactional counsel on the team’s most complex matters.
