Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the Secure Subsystems Engineering team in Cedar Rapids. The role focuses on design, test, and certification of cross-domain technologies and cryptographic products to support warfighters in multi-domain battlespace.

You will perform MBSE-driven analyses, requirements allocation, system integration, and verification in a classified environment, with opportunities to collaborate across portfolio teams and pursue

Qualifications

Active SECRET clearance required before start.
Typically a STEM degree with 5+ years experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
US citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
Experience with MBSE concepts and tools.

Responsibilities

Analyze and design at all system levels from concept to disposal.
Translate customer requirements into hardware/software specs.
Develop verification criteria and plans.
Perform system integration, verification, validation.
Work daily in a classified lab environment.
