Job summary

Corporate Compass Group Canada is seeking a Senior Sector Controller in London, Ontario to lead a team of Sector Controllers and Senior District Accountants. You will oversee monthly/quarterly financial reporting, provide analyses for accurate statements, and guide on balance sheet and client billing matters.

The role requires an accounting degree/diploma, a designation or equivalent experience, and 5+ years of accounting experience in a computerized environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Sector Controller and Senior District Accountants.
• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Provide accounting and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial statements within specific deadlines.
• Review the team's balance sheet and operating statement analysis, providing guidance and ensuring issues are resolved.
• Review client reporting and billings and ensure financial and contractual obligations are met.
• Partner with Operations and senior management to explain financial results, support decision-making, and resolve financial issues.
• Support internal, external, and client audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
• Support the accounting onboarding of new business.

Description

The salary range for this position is $88,000 to $105,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role.
