Job summary

NorthMark Strategies LLC in Dallas, TX seeks a VP of Security Operations to lead the operational arm of the security program for its HPC and cloud infrastructure. Reporting to the CISO, this executive owns five domains—IR, VM/Exploits, Threat Intel, GRC/Privacy, and Offensive Security—and translates strategic priorities into domain roadmaps, metrics, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive security operations experience with multi‑domain leadership.
• Hands‑on depth across incident response, vulnerability management, threat intel, GRC, and offensive security.
• Experience building mature SecOps in large, complex infra including HPC/AI environments.
• Proven ability to stand up SOC and detection engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and measure the SecOps organization across five domains.
• Deliver strategy, plan, platform investments, and budget to the CISO.
• Own end‑to‑end incident response with structured playbooks and improvements.
• Oversee vulnerability management and exploit risk across full stack.
• Drive threat intelligence and adversary analysis aligned to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Lead GRC and privacy program with risk, controls, and audits.
• Steer offensive security, red team, and adversarial simulations.
• Define operating cadence, SLAs, and program maturity with executive sponsors.
