Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Defense & Resilience practice seeks a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant to design, build, and optimize Google SecOps solutions, focusing on SIEM, SOAR, and threat detection engineering across enterprise environments.

In this hands-on, client-facing role you will translate security operations into automated playbooks, lead deployment of log pipelines with Bindplane, and mentor junior team members while staying current on threats and regulatory trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise information technology security
• Experience with Google Cloud's SecOps tool stack and architecture, specifically SIEM and SOAR
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain
• Experience with Python for automation and integration development
• Experience with log normalization/parsing tools (e.g., Logstash, Bindplane) and ETL pipelines (Cribl, Kafka)
• Ability to travel 50% on average
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments
• Lead log ingestion pipelines using data fabric technologies and API integrations
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune threat content
• Translate security operations into SOAR playbooks and integrations
• Build case management within Google SecOps SOAR; mentor junior team members
