Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant to help clients navigate an evolving threat landscape through scalable security operations solutions. You will focus on Google SecOps, threat detection engineering, and automation in a hands-on role with cross-functional teams.

You will design secure architectures, deploy log ingestion pipelines, and translate security processes into automated SOAR playbooks. Strong collaboration, leadership, and communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise IT security.
• Experience with Google Cloud's SecOps tool stack (SIEM/SOAR) and related architectures.
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python for automation/integration development.
• Experience with log normalization/parsing tools (Gostash/Logstash) and ETL pipelines (Cribl, Bindplane, NXLog, Kafka).
• Ability to travel ~50% and willingness for sponsorship considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM and SOAR deployments.
• Lead deployment of log ingestion pipelines using data fabric tech and cloud feeds.
• Collaborate with SOC analysts to prioritize and tune threat detection content in Google SecOps.
• Translate security ops processes into SOAR playbooks and custom integrations for automated ingestion and response.
• Build case management within Google SecOps SOAR and mentor junior team members.
