Job summary

Deloitte's Cyber Defense & Resilience team is seeking a Cyber SecOps Senior Consultant to design and deploy scalable Google SecOps architectures, including SIEM/SOAR, log ingestion, and automation. You will collaborate with SOC analysts to tune threat detection and translate processes into playbooks, while mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in security operations, strong Python skills, and experience with data fabrics like Bindplane/Cribl.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information systems, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection engineering, or enterprise information technology security.
• Experience with Google Cloud's SecOps tool stack (SIEM/SOAR) including Chronicle/Siemplify lineage.
• Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain frameworks.
• Experience with Python for automation and integration development.
• Experience with log ingestion pipelines and data fabric tools (Bindplane, Cribl, etc.).
• Willingness to travel ~50% and potential sponsorship considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable Google SecOps architectures for SIEM/SOAR deployments aligned with security policies and GDPR/PCI DSS.
• Lead deployment of log ingestion pipelines using data fabric technologies and API integrations (Bindplane, cloud feeds).
• Collaborate with SOC analysts and threat detection engineers to tune threat content in Google SecOps.
• Translate security operations processes into SOAR playbooks and automated ingestion/response flows.
• Build case management within Google SecOps SOAR; mentor junior members; stay current on threats and compliance.
