Job summary

MBC Talent Connections is seeking a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst in Irving, TX. Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience in SEC reporting or public accounting.
• Big 4 experience preferred.
• Exposure to SOX compliance, internal controls, or insurance accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Research accounting issues and new accounting/reporting standards.

Skills

Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

Experience with Excel

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent attention to detail

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

CPA designation (or progress toward CPA)

Master's degree

Tools

Workiva or other SEC reporting software
