Job summary

Accountants One, Inc. in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to lead the external financial reporting process for a publicly traded technology client. You will report to the Group Controller, manage 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings, and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.

The role collaborates with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and Investor Relations, ensures compliance with US GAAP and SOX, and oversees internal controls related to financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• 7+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SEC reporting experience for a publicly traded company.
• Experience with SEC filings and related software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of Form 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, DEF 14A, earnings releases, and other filings.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
• Manage quarterly/annual reporting calendars and coordinate cross-functional inputs.
• Research technical accounting matters and evaluate impact of new accounting pronouncements.
• Support SOX compliance and internal controls related to financial reporting processes.
• Coordinate XBRL tagging and filing process with external service providers.
• Coordinate audit requests as primary contact for external auditors.
• Manage external reporting staff and senior accountants, as applicable.
• Provide technical guidance and training to finance team.
