Cardinal Health, Inc. in Dublin, OH seeks an SEC Reporting professional to lead disclosure and ensure GAAP compliance for external financial statements. You will manage cross-functional projects, guide MD&A updates, and coordinate with Investor Relations while supervising staff and driving process improvements.

You will analyze accounting impacts of potential rule changes and provide timely, accurate reporting to support the company’s financial communications and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 5+ years experience in related field, public accounting or SEC reporting experience, preferred
• Supervisory or Managerial experience with direct reports, preferred
• CPA preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation projects for upcoming disclosure requirements (DISE).
• Provide accounting guidance to business partners to ensure GAAP conformity.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, timelines and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to evaluate reporting processes and design future-state solutions.
• Research impacts of accounting rule changes and advise management.
• Ensure SEC reports and disclosures comply with regulations and policies.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and other disclosures.
• Coordinate MD&A updates with Finance and Investor Relations.
• Assist monthly close by reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Oversee outsourced staff and ensure policy compliance; partner for course corrections.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead cross-functional execution.
