Job summary

Xplora Search Group is seeking an SEC Reporting & Accounting Policy Senior to join its Corporate Accounting team. The role blends SEC filings support with accounting policy and technical accounting work in a large, global public company.

The candidate will spend about 60% on SEC reporting and 40% on policy and technical matters, collaborating across finance and legal teams to ensure accurate external reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP is required.
• Experience auditing public-company clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings including financial statements and footnotes.
• Support quarterly earnings materials and management reporting packages.
• Assist with Form 8-K and proxy-related reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare memoranda.
• Evaluate new accounting standards and their impact on financial reporting.
• Assist with accounting analyses for complex transactions (acquisitions, divestitures, impairments, revenue recognition, leases, derivatives, etc.).
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting, Consolidations, Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, M&A, and Business Finance teams.
• Support SOX 404 controls maintenance and monitoring over external reporting.
