Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Accountant for SEC Reporting to join a fast-paced finance team. You will prepare public SEC filings, support earnings releases, and ensure GAAP compliance during period-end close.

You will work with Investor Relations, auditors and cross-functional partners, handling journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures, including climate-related reporting and SOX processes.

Qualifications

• Top accounting knowledge required with GAAP expertise.
• Experience preparing SEC filings and disclosures.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K/11-K) and related disclosures.
• Support earnings releases and tie-out of financial statements.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for close.
• Coordinate with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Assist with climate-related disclosures and SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with Investor Relations and cross-functional teams.
