Job summary

RGP is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Finance organization and support external financial reporting for a publicly traded manufacturing company. This role focuses on SEC filings, GAAP compliance, and quarterly and annual reporting processes.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with 10-K and 10-Q, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4+ years of experience in financial reporting or SEC filing work.
• Hands-on experience preparing 10-K and 10-Q filings.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and disclosures.
• Assist with annual and quarterly financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with SEC reporting requirements and GAAP.
• Review financial results to support external reporting accuracy.
• Coordinate information requests with internal stakeholders.
• Support audits and prepare audit schedules and documentation.
• Conduct technical accounting research and implement new standards.
• Maintain and enhance reporting processes, controls, and documentation.
• Support SOX compliance efforts related to financial reporting controls.
• Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives.
