Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering with focus on search or data-intensive systems.
3+ years in information retrieval concepts and ranking.
Experience in AI-driven coding tools like Claude Code and Copilot.
Proven execution from design to production support.
Mentoring engineers and improving technical standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize search algorithms and systems using Elastic/OpenSearch.
Fine-tune search relevance with ML techniques and ranking models.
Explore Agentic Solutions, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and LLMs to enhance search.
Analyze search data to identify improvements.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
Develop analytical models and apply predictive analytics.
Write Python code to explore large search data.
Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
