Job summary

Within NVIDIA's NGN Software-Defined Storage team, you will design and deliver production software for Kubernetes networking, Open vSwitch/OVN, and secure data-plane and control-plane architectures. You’ll work across multi-tenant environments, mentor engineers, and drive reliability and performance for NGN/GeForce NOW infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of proven experience designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining production software in C and Go.
• B.S. or M.S. in CS/CE or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with Open vSwitch and OVN including OpenFlow & control-plane-to-data-plane behavior.
• Production Kubernetes networking experience (CNIs, network policy, upgrades).
• Strong Linux networking fundamentals and overlay networking knowledge.
• Experience building distributed systems with secure APIs, state management, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to define and evolve multi-tenant control-plane and data-plane architecture.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and production-readiness decisions.
• Develop/review production software for Kubernetes networking, network plugins, and automation.
• Translate requirements into secure orchestration services and delivery plans.
• Drive Open vSwitch/OVN integration across flow behavior and upgrades.
• Create automated tests and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
• Share on-call rotation and lead incident response with telemetry and logs.
• Improve reliability, performance, security, and observability of production networks.
