Job summary
NVIDIA invites senior engineers to join the NGN Software-Defined Storage team, building secure, scalable networking and storage software for NGN/GeForce NOW. You will shape multi-tenant control planes, guide design reviews, and own production-grade Kubernetes networking and OS-level networking components.
You will collaborate across teams to implement Open vSwitch/OVN integrations, implement robust tests, and drive reliability, performance, and security objectives in a fast-paced cloud gaming
Qualifications
- 12+ years designing and maintaining production software in C and Go.
- Experience with Open vSwitch/OVN and OpenFlow in production.
- Strong Linux networking fundamentals and IP/TCP/UDP understanding.
- Production Kubernetes networking experience and network plugins.
- Ability to lead reviews, designs, and cross-team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to define and evolve multi-tenant control-/data-plane architecture.
- Lead design reviews, provide production-readiness guidance, and mentor engineers.
- Develop and review Kubernetes networking and network automation software.
- Translate requirements into secure services, APIs, and delivery plans.
- Drive integration of Open vSwitch and OVN across large-scale deployments.
- Build automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident resolution with data-driven approaches.
