Job summary

Autodesk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Heimdall team to build high-quality SDKs and developer-facing APIs. You will work across managed C#/.NET and native C++ code, shaping architecture, API design, implementation, and testing, with emphasis on packaging, CI/CD, and release workflows.

You will own the delivery lifecycle, create NuGet packages, and collaborate with product teams while adopting AI-assisted tools responsibly to improve quality.

Qualifications

• Strong demonstrated software engineering skills and production-quality work.
• Experience with modern C#/.NET and modern C++ for SDKs.
• Ability to work across C# and C++ boundaries and APIs.
• Experience designing and implementing developer-facing APIs and SDKs.
• Experience with automated unit testing and CI/CD practices.
• Proficient in source control and collaborative workflows.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, document, and maintain production-quality SDKs and components.
• Develop across C#/.NET and C++, enabling managed/native interoperability.
• Contribute to architecture and design of developer-facing APIs.
• Design maintainable APIs with careful versioning and deprecation planning.
• Own the delivery lifecycle including CI/CD, packaging, and release.
• Create and maintain NuGet packages and manage dependencies.
