Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Senior-to-Principal Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for our NG-SIEM Product Group. You will own building and ensuring the proper operation of distributed test and release automation that guarantees the quality of our platform.

In this hybrid Austin-based role, you will lead scalable test automation design, guide end-to-end release processes, and collaborate with engineering, operations, and release teams to deliver reliable software at scale.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance focused on test automation.
• Proven track record designing and implementing large-scale test automation frameworks.
• Expert-level proficiency in one or more programming languages (JS, Python, Java, or C#).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and agile development practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable automated testing architecture.
• Build and guide end-to-end release automation for releasable entities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, release management and stakeholders.
• Act as a technical leader for quality assurance practices.
• Hands-on coding leadership, crafting scalable solutions with a big-picture view.
• Navigate ambiguity while delivering innovative solutions.
