Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an experienced SDET to define and lead quality architecture for AI-driven digital experiences. You will design test automation strategies for complex API integrations and multi-step workflows and integrate testing with CI/CD pipelines for Apple Pay and eCommerce features.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Apple to ship high-quality features on aggressive timelines, mentoring peers and driving robust testing practices across mobile and web platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming.
• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methodology, and testing tools.
• Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
• Able to work independently, raise issues, and take corrective action.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation systems that scale.
• Experience testing applications built for mobile devices.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience validating microservices (unit, component, contract, integration tests, etc)
• Passionate about clean code and OO design patterns
• Works well with tight timelines and under pressure

Responsibilities

• Architect automation frameworks - Server and Client
• Work closely with developers to align on feature design, test plans and automation development for CI/CD
• Be a proponent for utilizing GenAI to assist with the above
• Provide go/no-go decisions to the executive team when releasing new features
• Deconstruct complicated features into comprehensive test plans that can be incorporated into our automation pipelines
• Collaborate with developers to shift left and catch bugs sooner
• Build, monitor, and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical experts across Apple
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership
