Job summary

Apple Inc. in Seattle, WA seeks a Senior Software Engineer in Test for distributed systems to design, implement, and automate tests that validate data center workloads and hardware-accelerated ML/HP computing.

You will work across teams to adapt software on a novel compute platform and help build scalable, high-performance services. The role requires 5+ years in software testing, strong scripting skills, and experience with cloud orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad, Mesos).

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test or Software Quality Engineer.
Scripting and programming skills in C/C++, Golang, Python, Shell.
Excellent Automation skills and CI/CD pipeline experience is a plus.
Good understanding of microservice topologies and deployment patterns in the cloud and/or edge.

Responsibilities

You will build and maintain system infrastructure powering next-gen data centers.
Craft, implement, and complete test plans and test suites based on spec documents.
Automate and validate outstanding hardware, software and services.
Collaborate with architecture, platform design, SOC architects, and software teams to ensure high quality tests.
