Job summary

Netspend is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to elevate quality engineering, test automation, and reliability across our fintech platform. The role focuses on scalable automation across UI, API, and backend services, collaborating with DevOps, product, and engineering teams to ensure secure and high-performing transaction workflows.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in software testing, strong Java or Groovy coding, and hands-on experience with Selenium,

Qualifications

8+ years of software testing, test automation, and quality engineering with hands-on automation development.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Develop automated test solutions using Java/.NET, Java, Python, or other suitable languages.
Build and maintain automated test suites for REST APIs, microservices, GraphQL, databases, and asynchronous workflows.
Validate financial transaction workflows, payment processing, and data integrity.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and reliable releases.
Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to automation best practices.
