Runpod is seeking a highly skilled SDET to drive automated testing across its large-scale distributed cloud platform. You will design and implement test automation, perform performance and chaos testing, and collaborate with Engineering, SRE, and Infra to ensure reliability and scalability.

The role emphasizes data-driven quality, end-to-end testing, and integration within CI/CD pipelines. Remote-first team with strong engineering culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA Automation or SDET experience in distributed systems.
• Expertise in cloud-scale testing with emphasis on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks for microservices.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD, IaC, and automated deployments.
• Experience with load testing and observability tools.
• Chaos engineering and fault-injection experience.
• Background check completed.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for cloud-scale systems.
• Architect performance, load, and stress tests for resilience.
• Develop chaos engineering strategies for reliability in distributed services.
• Create end-to-end integration tests across microservices.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD workflows for faster deployments.
• Collaborate with Eng, SRE, and Infra to embed quality practices.
• Analyze logs and telemetry to preempt failures.
• Automate security testing and API contract validation.
• Participate in on-call rotations for production issues.
