Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Enterprise Cloud QA team. You will design, build, and optimize tests for large-scale cloud infrastructure and data center services used across NVIDIA's AI platforms.

You will lead test plans, automate pipelines, and collaborate with Dev, PM, and partner teams to ensure security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years hands-on experience with cluster management and related tools (Docker, Slurm, Kubernetes, Ansible).
2+ years experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google, OCI).
Hands-on with network, storage, security, cluster config and debugging; Terraform/Ansible experience.
CI/CD tools experience (GitLab, Jenkins) and GitOps model.
Proficiency with monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Thanos).
Debugging networks, DHCP, DNS, HTTP, Linux, and container issues.
Familiarity with automation for test cases and AI-based testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work with development teams on test plans for all layers of the software stack for cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with customer PMs on software issues and feedback from OEMs and CSPs.
Develop benchmarks to track execution and deploy process improvements for efficiency.
Leverage AI to expedite test scope, plan, execution and automation workflows.
Lead cloud and data center bring-up activities including debugging and design input.
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud environments.
Perform performance, scalability, and reliability testing of cloud services.
Set up test environments in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Monitor and alert on significant events to ensure high performance and reliability.
Coordinate with partner teams to ensure availability of test clusters and resolve issues.
Focus on security, storage, workloads, and performance on latest software and firmware.
