Zusammenfassung

intelliSPEC is seeking a Senior SDET to lead automated testing and performance engineering for our industrial inspection platform. You will define quality strategy, mentor SDETs, and collaborate with developers, product, and DevOps to drive verified improvements.

In The Woodlands, TX, this hybrid role requires 4–5 years in software testing including automation and performance testing. You will build Playwright tests, expand API coverage, and integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelines.

Qualifikationen

• 4–5 years in software testing or SDET roles, including 3+ years of automation and 1+ year of performance/load testing.
• Hands-on Playwright automation with reliable locators, isolated test data, and clear failure diagnostics.
• REST API testing covering authentication, authorization, negative scenarios, and data integrity.
• CI/CD, Docker, and MongoDB experience; Azure DevOps preferred.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading automation initiatives, with clear written and verbal communication.

Aufgaben

• Lead automated testing and performance engineering across intelliSPEC.
• Define the automation and performance testing strategy, framework standards, and release quality gates.
• Mentor junior SDETs through pairing, code reviews, and well-scoped tasks.
• Partner with engineering and product leads on release readiness and quality KPIs.
• Expand test coverage for APIs, UI forms, and reports.
• Integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelines and eliminate flaky tests.
• Support mobile offline and sync testing, log defects in Jira.
