Quanata, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build and maintain shared quality engineering platforms and automation frameworks across QA and engineering teams. The role focuses on AI-assisted testing capabilities, security testing, and integration into engineering workflows.

You will mentor others, shape testing practices, and drive improvements in test coverage and feedback time while collaborating with Security to validate findings and fixes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6–8 years of software testing experience, with 3+ years building test automation frameworks or shared testing platforms.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience applying software design to shared frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, test, and maintain shared automation frameworks and developer tools for multiple QA and engineering teams.
• Partner with QA and engineering to validate functionality across application and platform layers.
• Build AI-assisted testing capabilities and evaluate agent-based testing approaches.
• Develop and automate security testing for APIs, applications, and shared platforms; collaborate with Security teams to verify fixes.
• Test AI-enabled tooling for prompt injection, information exposure, and failure handling.
• Integrate quality and security checks into CI/CD workflows with diagnostics and maintainable test data.
• Investigate failures and production issues to assess correctness and cost.
• Drive adoption through documentation, demonstrations, and mentoring to improve coverage and reduce manual effort.
