Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to enable VeloCloud SD-WAN opportunities for enterprise and channel partners. You will partner with Account teams to gather WAN requirements, design solutions, and drive successful pre-sales engagements across CO, NV, AZ, and Southern CA.

Qualifications

BS/CS/CE technical degree or equivalent experience.
7+ years pre-sales in data centers, campus, WAN, or cloud for enterprise markets.
Experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Networking Engineer with POCs and field trials.
Strong knowledge of Ethernet/LAN, IP routing, SD-WAN and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

Provide advanced pre-sales support to drive VeloCloud SD-WAN sales.
Design and present network solutions including VeloCloud and Arista EOS/CloudVision.
Lead RFIs/RFPs responses and sales proposals.
Perform PoCs and hands-on tests to validate customer setups.
Deliver technical training to prospects and channel partners.
Handle escalations with engineering to minimize business impact.
