Job summary

Forge Group, LLC is seeking a Scrum Master / Team Coach to support cross-functional teams in a secure, cloud-based modernization environment for a DoD customer. You will coach teams in Scrum and SAFe, facilitate events, remove impediments, and coordinate with delivery teams to sustain DevSecOps delivery.

The role requires strong facilitation, planning, and organizational skills, with 7+ years in Agile coaching and an active security clearance preferred. Remote work (DMV/NCR preferred) offered.

Qualifications

• US Citizen required.
• 7+ years Agile delivery, facilitation, or team coaching experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent, or 4 additional years of relevant experience.
• Current Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification.
• Experience coaching cross-functional software teams in Scrum and SAFe.
• Experience facilitating conflict resolution, dependency management, retrospectives, and continuous improvement.
• Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoW-approved baseline cybersecurity certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Active Tier 2 background investigation or higher, or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coach teams in Scrum and SAFe practices; facilitate events; remove impediments; coordinate across delivery teams.
• Support Product Owners with Product Goal clarity and backlog refinement.
• Coordinate with engineering, testing, security, data, and platform personnel for DevSecOps delivery.
• Track impediments, dependencies, delivery risks, decisions, and improvement actions.
• Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability expectations of the DoD customer environment.
