Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Senior-level Scrum Master to join a high-performing agile team in a large-scale, technically complex program. You will facilitate SAFe ceremonies, coach teams in Scrum, and help drive relentless improvement across the Agile Release Train.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in agile environments, certifications (CSM/SSM/PMI-ACP), and hands-on use of Jira or similar tools. Strong communication and collaboration with Product Owners and System Engineers are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
CSM/SSM/PMI-ACP certification or equivalent agile project management certification.
Significant hands-on experience with agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, VersionOne, Rally, IBM RTC).
At least 4 years as Scrum Master on a large, complex technical program; experience on a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate self-organizing teams to meet PI commitments.
Protect the team from scope creep during PI execution.
Remove impediments and coordinate with Release Train Engineers.
Coach teams and promote Scrum process and other rules.
Lead SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Reviews.
Develop User Stories with Product Owner and System Engineers to meet acceptance criteria.
Maintain and share team metrics and drive continuous improvement.
