Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to lead agile delivery within the Data & Analytics Value stream. This hybrid role requires in-office presence Tue/Wed with flexible remote Mon, Thu, Fri.

You will partner with Product Owner and IT leaders to drive plans, track progress, and remove impediments while coaching teams toward higher maturity. Ideal candidates bring extensive Agile experience, PI Planning participation, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience with Agile metrics and reporting.
• Experience with backlog grooming/refinements with the PO.
• Experience in Program Increment (PI) Planning.
• Experience in estimation and story pointing.
• Experience in team capacity/velocity planning.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
• Scrum Master certification.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and release planning.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and leadership to drive delivery.
• Identify opportunities to improve velocity and quality.
• Support RTE in delivering PI objectives.
• Maintain backlog readiness and stakeholder visibility.
• Remove impediments to progress and coach teams.
• Coach teams toward higher Scrum maturity.
• Foster a safe, trusting team environment.
