Job summary

Aquent is partnering with a leading financial organization in Austin to recruit a Senior Scrum Master who will drive agile delivery across multiple teams responsible for messaging apps and integration initiatives. You will coach teams, facilitate ceremonies, and ensure on-time, within-budget releases in a fast-paced financial tech environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Product Owners, stakeholders, and QA, leveraging Jira/Confluence and best practices to improve velocity and quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Certified Scrum Master.
• Proficient with Jira and Confluence for Scrum artifacts.
• Strong understanding of agile software development and SDLC.
• Experience leading large, complex financial tech projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence.
• Ability to coach teams to higher performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate all agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retros, release planning).
• Champion agile practices and mentor teams.
• Serve as interface between developers, Product Owners, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and impediments, and implement mitigation plans.
• Monitor velocity, progress, and releases; maintain process docs.
• Provide clear updates and escalate business impacts as needed.
• Support self-organizing teams and ensure potentially releasable increments.
• Leverage Scrum tools to coordinate deliverables.
