Kestra is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support the Data, Analytics & AI Platform group. You will partner with multiple Scrum and Kanban teams to boost efficiency, predictability, and collaboration across data initiatives.

You’ll apply agile expertise to align teams around consistent practices and drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have extensive Scrum Master experience, strong Jira skills, and a proven ability to coach teams across time zones while delivering high-value data

Qualifications

5+ years’ Scrum Master experience.
3–5 years in data domain with Databricks and Profisee.
10+ years in the technology industry.
Certified Scrum Master (preferred).
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
Experience with Jira (Jira Service Management desired).
Experience with distributed teams across time zones.
Experience with data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, consumption.
Understanding of batch, streaming, and near-real-time delivery.
Awareness of data quality, lineage, governance.
Exposure to analytics/AI/ML workflows.
Experience in financial industry preferable; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies and release planning.
Partner with Product Owners to manage backlog and value delivery.
Identify and remove impediments and risks affecting delivery.
Coordinate dependencies across distributed teams and time zones.
Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile practices.
Provide leadership within the Scrum Master team.
Foster accountability, transparency, collaboration, and learning.
Lead release planning and improve delivery processes.
Use Agile metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
Promote engineering best practices like predictable delivery and DevOps concepts.
Stay current with industry practices and experiment with new techniques.
