Job summary

Kestra Financial, Inc. is seeking a skilled Scrum Master to support the Data, Analytics & AI Platform group in Austin.

You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, partner with Product Owners, and remove impediments to enable predictable delivery across distributed teams in multiple time zones. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of Scrum Master experience and 5+ years in tech, with strong Jira experience and a passion for data-driven product delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of Scrum Master experience.
5+ years of overall technology experience.
Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban).
Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools; Jira Service Management preferred.
Experience with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Experience with data lifecycle & pipelines and governance awareness.
Exposure to analytics/AI/ML workflows is a plus.
Financial industry experience is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and release planning.
Coordinate dependencies and resolve impediments across distributed teams.
Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles and self-organization.
Improve release planning and delivery processes to enable focus on business priorities.
Use Agile metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
Uphold Kestra’s core values in daily delivery.
