Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for an onsite contract-based role in Charlotte, NC. You will guide teams in Agile practices, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and partner with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized backlog.

Responsibilities include removing impediments, coaching teams for predictable delivery, and advancing continuous improvement through retrospectives and metrics reporting. This is a 12-month engagement with exposure to enterprise release processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospectives).
• Proficient with Jira for backlog management, dashboards, and metrics.
• Ability to remove impediments and coach teams to high performance.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups and team alignment.
• Maintain delivery flow with Scrum/Kanban practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to groom backlog.
• Coach teams on Agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Report status to stakeholders through dashboards and communications.
